# Getting Started with Risk
> Start here: a video tour of the Risk module, what the Lite and Pro tiers each include, and where to go next.
The Risk module tracks project risks against the same WBS, work packages, and activities your cost estimate and schedule already use, then turns them into a contingency figure you can defend.
It comes at two levels, **Risk Lite** and **Risk Pro**. This page covers both, and the video walks the complete Lite workflow end to end before showing what Pro adds.

## What each tier includes
Which tier your organization has is set per environment by your Dash360 administrator. If you are not sure, look at the Risk Analysis page: if **Cost and Schedule Uncertainty** carries a **PRO** badge, you are on Lite.

Lite is a complete workflow on its own. It produces a real cost distribution from a full simulation, not a colour-coded grid, and it quantifies what your response plan is worth.

| **Schedule Monte Carlo** | A project finish-date distribution, so the answer is *when* and not only *how much* |
| **Schedule contingency decomposition** | Splits contingency between duration uncertainty, risk events, and their interaction |
| **Monte Carlo by WBS** | Allocate a project-level number down the hierarchy |
| **Sensitivity charts** | Rank which risks, activities, and cost structures move the answer most |
| **Per-node reports** | Drill into the cost and schedule distribution for any single node of the cascade |
| **Compare Simulations** | Put saved runs side by side instead of eyeballing two charts |
| **Delta Analysis** | The movement from Risk to Mitigated Risk across the whole register |
| **Risk Analytics Burndown** | Exposure over time, count trends, velocity, drivers, and cash-flow timing |
| **Correlation** | Risk-to-risk and activity-to-activity correlation, so related risks move together |
### Fields you can fill in on Lite today
Three fields on the risk form carry a **PRO** badge but stay fully editable in Lite: **Start Date**, **Finish Date**, and **Add Activities**. Their only consumers are Pro features, so nothing on a Lite page reads them yet.
Probability and Cost Impact are not badged: they drive the cost Monte Carlo on both tiers.
Enter these as you go even on Lite. The analytics that read them light up the day you move to Pro, so your history is already there instead of starting from an empty page.
