Overview
The Format 1030 Report organizes your project’s cost data into the standardized code classification structure required by government contracting standards. Resource assignments are mapped to Form 1030 codes — government-standard cost categories — and the report displays cost data with time-phased fiscal year columns and automatic subtotals at every level of the hierarchy. A built-in quality check flags any resource assignments where Form 1030 code mappings are incomplete or invalid before you export, surfacing compliance issues early.Prerequisites
- Select a project. The report does not load until a project is selected.
Report Types
Use the report type selector to choose how data is organized:| Report Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Timephase Grouped by WBS / Work Package | Costs organized hierarchically by WBS and work package, with Form 1030 code subtotals at each level |
| Timephase Grouped by Resource Assignment | Costs organized by individual resource assignment |
| Timephase Grouped by Resource ID | Costs organized by resource code hierarchy |
| Fiscal Year | A summary view aggregated by fiscal year — no time-phase detail |
Reading the Grid
Columns in the grid represent fiscal year periods. Each row shows the cost for that hierarchy level and period, with automatic subtotals rolling up at each level. The total row at the bottom of each Form 1030 code section shows the sum across all work packages mapped to that code.Quality Check
Before exporting, Dash360 checks that all resource assignments in the selected project have valid Form 1030 code mappings. If any are missing, the quality check flags the affected assignments so you can correct the mappings before delivering the report. This prevents compliance issues from reaching the client.Available Filters
